The Halo Gaia Holistic Journeys were first created in 2000 by Nelia Spies. After working in the standard world of conventional tourism for years, Neila began to realize that people on vacation needed to be inspired and spiritually revitalized. With this newfound understanding, the tours began. As you swim with wild dolphins, seeing the world from their perspective, you realize that you just explored a new horizon, completely different from swimming with dolphins in a hotel swimming pool.

The word Gaia translates to “Sprit of the Earth or the Great Mother Goddess”. Based on this belief system, Halo Gaia Holistic Journeys introduce you to new ways of life. In addition to the hands-on approach with the dolphins, you will quickly discover that music plays a huge role throughout the journey. With music being the universal language, it has a powerful way of uniting people and helping groups of total strangers to bond. While the sound of the music is incredible, the rhythm is viewed as a heartbeat, allowing you to overcome mental blocks, almost like therapy.
